Goods are referred to as hazardous goods if they pose a threat to the life and health of humans or animals, or a threat to the environment or public safety. Examples of hazardous goods range from explosives, inflammable or toxic substances as well as radioactive substances. There are special regulations for the transport of hazardous goods which, due to international law, apply almost throughout the European continent, often even worldwide. It goes without saying that it is not only a matter of experience, but also a high degree of diligence, conscientiousness and thoroughness that are necessary for the transport of hazardous goods.
